Hi, I made an iFVN project that maybe helps others in their games or projects, and I want to share it.
My doub is if there's a problem sharing the original iFVN project file, since assets like music or graphics, like in packaged projects, are not encrypted, and anyone can access to them. Is allowed to share de iFVN project file in sites like Itch.io or others similar?.
I think so, but I wish also that music and graphics were "packed" into the main game file. As a music creator in the asset store store, it leaves everything very open. Just make sure you put a disclaimer, that files included cannot be copied, sold or used in any other applications.
There must be a way to encrypt them. There was a way to encrypt GameGuru standalones I'm not sure if the packing program will encrypt non GameGuru games by I will take a look.
I have found the packer called "Vishnu Packer" I will test tonight here with an exported IFVN projects and see if it packs and encrypts the standalone. The link is below.
The packer works encrypting everything. IFVN standalones are totally protected with Vishnu Packer. You antivirus may give you a warning but it is a false positive.
Hi Tarkus1971, yes for now think I'll use your suggestion of the disclaimer :),...I used my own graphics, but for sounds, music or other system graphics it will be necessary, and I'll take a look to that encrypting tool, looks good.
As you said, it would be great if ifVN allowed the encryption in distribution packages, even in main projects files.

Saving worked here, but not the top most save location, only the ones marked 1,2,3,4 etc, the one with the chinese symbol did not work for me. But the numbered ones did.
